A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Tacoma, WA, serving K through 6th-grade students. This contract position offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, with caseloads capped at 50 students. The primary focus will be providing speech and language services to early learners, specifically targeting students in Pre-K through 4th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services tailored to students individual needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress throughout the school year.
- Utilize best practices for pediatric communication development within an educational setting.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, enhancing accessibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license.
- ESA certification required for school-based practice.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in school or healthcare settings.
- Strong skills in teletherapy methods preferred.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and/or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is advantageous.
