Your impact will be hands-on as you serve a caseload of no more than 50 students, working with children from preschool through 6th grade. Youll be responsible for delivering essential speech and language services, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention and support.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
- Familiarity with P-4 developmental milestones and interventions
- Open to SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and those with teletherapy experience
- Compassionate communication and effective collaboration with families, teachers, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students experiencing speech or language difficulties
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions individually and in small groups
- Develop IEP goals tailored to each childs unique needs, with an emphasis on measurable progress
- Maintain thorough documentation to support compliance and ongoing evaluation
- Consult and collaborate with educational teams and families to ensure the best outcomes for students
