Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students individual needs
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other service providers to support students educational goals
- Maintain and update accurate records, progress notes, and required special education documentation
- Engage in IEP meetings and provide input to support student success
- Educate families and staff on strategies to foster student communication development
