Job Description

A part-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program in a K-12 school setting located in Syracuse, NY. This contract role offers an opportunity to serve multiple caseloads and work across various sites during the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
  • Manage multiple caseloads effectively while adapting to different school sites
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with program standards
  • Participate actively in the summer program to support students communication needs

Qualifications:

  • Current, active New York State license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) in New York
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to handle multiple caseloads across sites
