Job Description

A full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, including the Extended School Year, at a K-12 school located in Syracuse, NY, within Onondaga County. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with students across all grade levels, supporting their communication and language development needs in a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students K-12, addressing a variety of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology within schools

Qualifications:

  • Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certified Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) in New York
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and student success
