Job Description
A full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, including the Extended School Year, in Syracuse, NY. This contract role supports students in educational settings, specifically within schools in Onondaga County. The ideal candidate will possess expertise working with pediatric populations in school environments and hold required certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication needs
- Monitor and document student progress related to speech and language goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- New York Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification
- Experience working with pediatric clients in school settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
