Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Illinois
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, including IEPs and diverse communication needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and staff effectively
  • Ability to adapt interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with each students IEP goals
  • Provide therapy sessions (individual and/or group) to support speech, language, voice, and fluency development
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success in academic settings
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development related to pediatric speech therapy
