Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active North Carolina license for Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Holds SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or is a Clinical Fellow (CFY) actively progressing toward CCCs
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based practice

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor progress toward goals
  • Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Collaborate with educators and families to facilitate communication strategies that support student success
  • Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and consult with Clinical Advisory Team as needed
