Step into an impactful contract assignment supporting preschool and early childhood programs in a vibrant Arizona school setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year and offers a dynamic environment with varying caseloads dependent on evaluations and service needs.
Ideal candidates will carry strong expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, particularly those holding ASHA CCC credentials. Youll be joining a collaborative team, supporting both established caseloads and Child Find initiatives, with direct responsibilities in screening, assessment, and therapy.
What you bring:
- Current State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Valid SLP Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (required at time of application)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in schools, preschool, or early childhood setting a strong plus
- Commitment to culturally responsive, child-centered care
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to preschoolers, focusing on early intervention and school readiness
- Conduct individualized evaluations as part of Child Find activities
- Develop and implement student-centered therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain organized and timely reports, documentation, and compliance with district and state requirements
- Support families and educators through guidance, training, and inclusive communication
