Essential Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Arizona SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- IVP Fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
Key Role Functions:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Maintain clear and timely documentation using established district guidelines
- Offer consultation to faculty and parents on students communication needs
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and staff development activities
- Adapt and tailor speech/language interventions to meet the unique requirements of multiple caseloads
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages student growth
