Ideal candidates will bring:
- A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience providing therapy services to pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
- Familiarity with a variety of age groups, including Early Childhood, K-5, Grades 6-8, and Grades 9-12
- Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and documentation
- Excellent collaboration and communication with students, staff, and families
- Comfort in adapting therapy approaches to diverse learning needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
- Delivering direct and consultative SLP services to students from Pre-K through high school
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational success
- Maintaining accurate records and timely documentation to comply with program requirements
- Involving families and teachers in intervention strategies to promote generalization of skills
