We're seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who are dedicated to supporting students from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly valued in this role. Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Experience in a school-based setting with students in preK8th grade
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapy techniques for diverse learning needs
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage collaboratively with families and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy services for students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with best practices and district guidelines
- Consult with educators and families to support student learning across academic and social settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity
