A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Bishopville, SC. This contract position starts on August 1, 2025, and concludes on May 29, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support to approximately 56 students.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in alignment with district guidelines.
• Deliver services in a dedicated therapy space to facilitate effective interventions.
• Collaborate with educators and other team members during paid meetings and planning sessions.
• Utilize districts IEP system with provided training to ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
• Manage caseload in a workload model without caseload caps.
• Administer indirect administrative tasks and participate in team meetings as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina SLP license.
• South Carolina teaching certification.
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students (PreK-5).
• Ability to deliver itinerant therapy services with paid travel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage workload and documentation.
• Commitment to supporting student progress in speech and language development.
