Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (or eligibility) in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans
- Flexibility and adaptability in working with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to each students goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff
- Monitor student progress and regularly update documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide consultation to teachers and families to support classroom communication strategies
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress reports
