Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) status
  • Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility) for South Carolina
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students from diverse backgrounds
  • Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in groups
  • Maintain accurate documentation for sessions, progress, and compliance
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain confidentiality of student information at all times
