Job Description

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Sugar Land, TX. This role involves providing assessment and therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and district guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility in addressing diverse student needs
