Job Description

Make a significant impact supporting K-12 students in their communication and language development as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with students in a school-based setting near Sturgis, MI, helping them reach their academic and social potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, supporting diverse student needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to manage and organize a K-12 caseload with professionalism and compassion

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students with varied needs across the K-12 spectrum
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate progress with families and staff
  • Consult with educators and participate in school meetings to enhance student support and inclusion
