Step into a dynamic school-based role as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students and staff along Floridas breathtaking southeast coast. This contract opportunity offers both full-time and part-time assignments across a selection of innovative K-8 and high school campuses, supporting vibrant learning communities and diverse student caseloads.
As an SLP, you will have the chance to work individually with students ranging from VPK through 12th grade, supporting a wide variety of needs including ASD, EBD, InD, VE, and more. Collaborate closely with talented therapy teams and make a lasting impact in top-priority schoolsmany of which offer strong professional support and peer SLP collaboration.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in a public school setting strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning multiple age groups and exceptionalities
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Must complete all relevant fingerprinting and credentialing prior to the start date
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments and design intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and families
- Document progress, maintain compliant records, and prepare reports for IEP meetings
- Support students in both inclusion and specialized program settings
- Participate in ongoing professional development
