Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
  • Adept at evaluation and treatment planning for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Comfortable conducting therapy and assessments with students from Pre-K through Grade 12
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of IEP process and experience developing and documenting appropriate goals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students communication needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of progress, updating IEPs and participating in meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive environment
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and training for staff and caregivers as appropriate
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and expand expertise
