Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Modesto, CA area, serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade within a supportive school environment. This contract position involves working with diverse caseloads of approximately 55 students across two school sites, providing a range of speech-language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide services according to individual education plans (IEPs), including pull-out, push-in, and consultation models.
  • Deliver specialized support to students in Autism SDC, SDC ESN (Moderate to Severe), SDC MMSN (Moderate/Severe), and Preformal Classes, including preschool intake assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams through consistent communication and participation in IEP meetings.
  • Manage a caseload of students with mild to moderate disabilities, tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs.
  • Maintain compliance with CA licensure requirements and school district policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California.
  • Experience working with RTI models and a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Ability to adapt service delivery across multiple sites efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators and families.
  • Proven track record in timely decision-making regarding job offers and commitments.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is located in Modesto, CA.
  • Full-time commitment at 40 hours per week.
  • Start date is ASAP, with the contract extending through the end of the school year.
