Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on providing speech and language services to an elementary caseload in a collaborative educational environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active and valid IL SLP License (required for assignment)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP - CCC)
  • Experience working with school-aged children, particularly elementary students, is highly valued
  • Knowledge of IEP process and ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Familiarity with state and district guidelines for school-based SLPs
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group therapy to students in elementary grades
  • Conduct assessments to determine speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success across settings
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
