Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a long-term substitute Speech Language Pathologist supporting students communication growth. This full-time contract opportunity covers two assignment windows, allowing you to use your expertise in both evaluation and therapy while collaborating closely with dedicated school teams.

What Were Looking For:

  • Active Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • CCC-SLP preferred (dependent on district requirements)
  • Previous experience working with school-based speech caseloads strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing IEP compliance, detailed documentation, and effective therapy scheduling
  • Ability to efficiently oversee direct speech services and complete thorough evaluations
  • Familiarity with both elementary and/or secondary caseloads is an asset
  • Comfortable navigating Minnesota-specific school compliance protocols
  • Adaptable and able to seamlessly continue established service plans for existing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech therapy to a speech only caseload of about 25 students
  • Meet service load requirements, totaling approximately 45 sessions
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance standards
  • Provide long-term substitute coverage across two periods:
    • May 25, 2026 June 4, 2026
    • September 2026 December 1, 2026
  • Full-time schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:00 PM, in-person

Compensation for this position ranges from $23.75 to $88.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
