Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) for Michigan
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • CCC-SLP certification (ASHA) a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student success
  • Develop and update IEPs and maintain thorough records
  • Offer guidance and support to teachers regarding communication interventions
