Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Michigan is required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) must be current
  • Previous experience working in schools with students ages early childhood through high school preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student development

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic assessments and therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams to promote students academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school district and legal requirements
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to support student progress and offer strategies for continued growth
