Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification required
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders both encouraged to apply
  • Experience within school-based settings is preferred
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs
  • Develop individualized IEP goals tailored to promote each child's communication success
  • Deliver direct therapyboth one-on-one and in group settingswithin the elementary school population
  • Partner with teachers, staff, and families, fostering collaborative strategies that enhance student progress
  • Accurately maintain records, documentation, and actively participate in IEP meetings
  • Regularly monitor student outcomes and adapt intervention approaches as necessary
