Job Description

Step into an impactful contract opportunity to support student communication and learning for the 2026-2027 school year, with potential extended school year (ESY) work for 2025-2026. This onsite position offers two openings for passionate professionals committed to helping students succeed in an engaging school environment.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, youll provide high-quality services to students from PreK through 12th grade, predominantly working with elementary and middle school populations. The school values professional autonomy, and you should be comfortable handling the full scope of school-based SLP responsibilities independently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and active Michigan SLP license (please provide a current screenshot of licensure)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • SLP experience in school settings, spanning PreK through high school preferred
  • Strong organization and self-direction skills to manage caseload independently
  • Familiarity with the general duties of a school-based SLP: evaluations, reporting, direct and consultative services, and collaboration with team members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and document services per district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve the communication needs of students in a diverse, supportive educational community
  • Maintain compliance with all licensure and ethical standards

Your schedule can be tailored within the parameters of the school day, providing flexibility while ensuring meaningful student engagement. This full-time role averages 35 hours per week.
