Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Active or eligible Alaska state SLP license
  • Demonstrated experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech, language, voice, and fluency therapy to students in accordance with their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop student-centered treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations
  • Educate school personnel and families to support carryover of therapy strategies
