Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the remainder of the school year within a K-12 educational setting in Sterling, Alaska. This contractual opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where professionals can make a meaningful impact on student development and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grades.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students speech and language needs.

  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of learning goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials.

  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel and adapt to different school environments within Alaska.
