Youll collaborate with a dedicated team, serving in a school community located in Winchester, VA, for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule, providing 37.5 hours each week, enabling you to engage fully in both student growth and collaboration with educators.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Virginia SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based speech services highly preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with educators and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, parent consultations, and school events as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to staff regarding language development strategies
  • Foster an encouraging environment that supports student achievement and confidence
