Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
  • Deliver direct therapy to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, progress, and services delivered
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
  • Provide resources and training to staff and caregivers as needed
