Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized speech and language services in a school setting located in Staten Island, NY. This role focuses on supporting students who require assessment, intervention, and consultation to improve their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school-based environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams.
Location: Staten Island, NY
