Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; strong clinical fellows considered
  • Prior experience working in school settings is highly desirable, though not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, educators, and families
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student performance, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for supports and accommodations
  • Stay current with best practices and comply with state and federal regulations
