Job Description

A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Stanton, MI, offering flexible work options either virtually or in person. This contract position is scheduled for 25 hours per week from now until the end of the school year in June 2026. The role provides the opportunity to support a diverse pediatric population through direct therapy and comprehensive speech-language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
  • Participate in and lead IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families
  • Write and maintain detailed and compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop tailored intervention plans
  • Utilize teletherapy techniques when working virtually to ensure continuity of care

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
  • Skilled in delivering speech therapy via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong knowledge of school-based speech therapy procedures and requirements
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams

Location and Schedule:

  • Stanton, MI (virtual or in person)
  • Contract through the current school year, ending June 2026
