Bring your passion for supporting student communication needs to a dynamic setting near Stamford, CT, as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time contract opportunity offers 32.5 hours per week, providing services to K-12 students within a collaborative, supportive educational environment.
Ideal candidates will hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) and bring a commitment to helping students thrive academically and socially. Youll deliver direct and consultative speech and language services, contribute to IEP development, and work closely with educators and families to foster student achievement.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active state SLP license or eligibility in Connecticut
- Previous experience working with K-12 caseloads preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, diverse school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide documentation, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Deliver both individual and group therapy services across grade levels
