Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language services in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who have a passion for supporting students growth and communication skills across all grade levelsfrom Pre-K and Kindergarten through Elementary, Middle, and High School.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state license and ASHA certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience or interest in working with early childhood, pre-school, and school-aged populations (grades K12)
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and speech/language disorders
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to delivering individualized therapy and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students across diverse age groups
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each students needs
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal-setting and progress reviews
  • Collaborate with classroom staff and families to maximize student support
  • Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to reinforce communication skills
