Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a contract position serving a school in Springville, AL. This role provides services to approximately 50 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position offers both onsite and remote work options, requiring a commitment of four days per week from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama Speech Language Pathologist License (required for onsite work)
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Onsite position in Springville, AL, with an option for remote work
