Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Compassionate, student-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
  • Maintain accurate case records and progress notes in compliance with school requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of appropriate student goals
  • Provide direct therapy services and consultations with educators and families
  • Adapt approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
