Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience with pediatric populations in a school-based setting preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in K-12 students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student learning and development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to building a positive school climate
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
