Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students near the Spring Valley and La Mesa areas as a Speech Language Pathologist. Work with a diverse TK-5th grade population and foster positive communication outcomes by providing both direct and indirect services. You'll serve a caseload with a broad range of unique needs, collaborating with educational staff and families to help each student thrive.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CA SLP License or CA CTC and bring expertise in pediatric speech therapywhether seasoned with CCC, experienced in healthcare or schools, passionate about teletherapy, or pursuing a Clinical Fellowship Year. A collaborative and compassionate approach, plus familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and adapting to various service delivery models, are highly valued.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid CA SLP License or CA CTC certification (required)
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly school settings (preferred)
  • Skilled in direct/indirect speech therapy and conducting thorough evaluations
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining IEPs
  • Adaptable, organized, and eager to partner with teachers, families, and providers
  • Comfortable providing services in person or via teletherapy as needed

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy to TK-5th grade students
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop effective treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ensure accurate, timely documentation
  • Customize support for a caseload with diverse speech/language needs
  • Communicate proactively with parents and school staff for student success
