In this role focused on the TK5th grade population, you will provide both direct and indirect services to a diverse caseload of students with varying needs. This position covers essential SLP functions, including conducting evaluations and facilitating IEPs, ensuring students receive the support necessary for their academic and personal growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Current CA SLP License or CA CTC certification required
- Experience with pediatric and school-based speech therapy (SLP - School, SLP - Pediatrics, SLP - CFY)
- Confidence working with diverse student needs, ideally from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade
- Familiarity with the latest teletherapy approaches and standards is a plus
- Strong organizational skills to manage comprehensive IEPs, evaluations, and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, both direct and indirect
- Conduct assessments, develop and update IEP goals, and complete required evaluations
- Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other clinicians to foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and data-driven reports on student progress
- Adapt services and intervention strategies to best fit each students unique needs, including through teletherapy where appropriate
