Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Experience or interest in working with school-aged children
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and design treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, both in-person and as needed in virtual formats
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Document progress, prepare evaluations, and maintain confidential records according to district and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide resources and recommendations to teachers and caregivers for supporting communication development
