Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage a caseload and document services in accordance with district and legal requirements
- Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred through the special education process
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy, both in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
- Serve as a resource in supporting students academic and social success through improved communication skills
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Stay current on best practices and participate in professional development relevant to school-based therapy
