Seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) excited to make an impact in a dynamic school environment. Qualified applicants are invited to express interest in future opportunities supporting students in Texas public schools for the 20262027 academic year. This is a preliminary request to identify outstanding professionals who value clinical excellence, collaboration, and helping young learners thrive.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (screenshot submission required)
- School-based experience as an SLP or SLPA
- Commitment to on-site practice
- Ability to complete HISD-required fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
- Dependable transportation
What Youll Do:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language interventions for students in diverse educational settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individual student needs
- Maintain timely and precise documentation in alignment with school and district policies
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide progress reports
- Support inclusive and engaging learning environments, promoting communication success
