Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Spring, TX. This on-site contract position runs from January 5, 2026, to April 17, 2026, serving a caseload of approximately 100 students. The role requires supervising a bilingual SLP Assistant available three days per week, conducting evaluations, and attending Specialized Instruction (SI) only Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students consistent with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Supervise and collaborate with a bilingual SLP Assistant.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and prepare related reports.
  • Attend SI-only ARD meetings to discuss student progress and services.
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and school district policies.

Qualifications:

  • Current CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with school-aged children in an elementary school setting preferred.
  • Ability to effectively supervise support staff.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Location:

  • On-site position based in Spring, TX at an elementary school. Remote work is not permitted.
