Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students across elementary, middle, and high schools by providing direct, onsite speech-language services. This opportunity is for motivated Speech Language Pathologists available for a full-time, contract position spanning August 13, 2025, through May 27, 2027, serving a diverse caseload in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required, or eligibility to obtain one by June or July for out-of-state applicants
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) mandatory
  • Previous school-based SLP experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
  • Open to travel professionals seeking short- or long-term assignments
  • Onsite availability required; remote or virtual delivery cannot be accommodated

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language assessments, planning, and direct therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Design and implement IEP-driven interventions to facilitate speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective support plans
  • Maintain timely records, progress notes, and compliance documentation in line with school district protocols
  • Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings, offering expert insights to optimize student outcomes
