This onsite role allows you to make a positive impact in the lives of students near Spring Lake, NC by providing direct assessment, intervention, and consultation to help them thrive both academically and socially. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- SLP-CCC credentials required
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Openness to travel-based assignments
- Strong understanding of student-centered therapy practices
- Comfortable working with varied caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school
- Commitment to fully onsite work (no remote/voco options available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer expertise and guidance within multidisciplinary teams
Assignment Details & Schedule:
- Full-time, contract position from August 2025 to May 2027
- Standard workweek: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload assignments across elementary, middle, and high school based on district needs
