Job Description

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an impactful role working with elementary students in a supportive educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract position spans the 20262027 school year, serving both public and non-public school populations within a thriving district near Spring Lake, MI.

Required Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license from the state of Michigan
Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
Experience providing speech-language services in school environments
Confidence in managing elementary-aged student caseloads
Skilled in tailoring interventions to diverse student needs, including those in non-public settings
Professional communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based clinical practice

Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
Deliver services individually and in group settings, both within public schools and for non-public students supported by the district
Collaborate with teachers, support professionals, and families to build progress toward student goals
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, classroom observations, and multidisciplinary team consultations
Contribute to the planning and implementation of school-based speech and language programs
