Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within a school environment
• Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and engaging with families and teachers
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school guidelines
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions based on student needs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports
• Engage and collaborate with educators, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Educate staff and families on strategies for supporting students speech and language development
