Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school setting located in Spartanburg, SC. This contract position focuses on delivering speech and language therapy services to help students achieve their communication goals and succeed academically.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with school-age children in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
