Preferred Background & Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current, valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt interventions to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy using evidence-based practices
• Regularly monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and professional learning communities
• Support generalization of communication skills into classroom routines and activities
