Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working in schools is an advantage, but not required
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
  • Provide direct therapy services both individually and in groups
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services rendered
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom goals and inclusion
  • Engage with parents and caregivers, providing strategies and resources for home practice
