Job Description

Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting students by providing speech-language pathology services within a school-based setting near Spartanburg, SC. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working with a K-12 student population. You'll play a vital role in helping children achieve communication goals and thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Hold current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in South Carolina
  • Possess a valid Educator Certificate for South Carolina schools
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Skill working with diverse K-12 caseloads and tailoring interventions to individual needs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for communication and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to encourage student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student served
  • Participate in IEP meetings and support district-wide special education initiatives
  • Remain onsite during designated work hours; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available for this assignment
