Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings
  • Understanding of diverse communication needs across childhood and adolescence
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students, adhering to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate communication disorders within a pediatric school population
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers for holistic student support
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide insightful progress reports to families and educational teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment that embraces diversity and inclusion
