This contract opportunity supports elementary, middle, and high school students in a collaborative educational setting near Sparks, NV. Youll work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to help students develop the communication skills they need for academic and social success.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Nevada (NV) Speech-Language Pathologist license is required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
• Ability to work with a range of student ages and needs (elementary through high school)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and engaging with families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to eligible students
• Evaluate students speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities using standardized assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with state requirements
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and sessions
• Consult with teachers and staff regarding strategies to support students in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based team meetings as needed
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse cultural and developmental needs of students
